Team History:

The Triad Trackers Wheelchair Basketball Team was founded in 1997. The purpose of this organization is to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to compete in wheelchair basketball. Our target audience includes individuals with physical disabilities. We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization in great standing with Internal Revenue Service. Triad Trackers Wheelchair Basketball Team competes in the Carolina Wheelchair Basketball Conference, under the umbrella of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association. Our competition are teams from Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Concord, NC; Fayetteville, NC; Lumberton, NC; Wilmington, NC; Augusta, GA; Spartanburg, SC and Charleston, SC. Our season culminates with the playoffs in the regional conference with a chance to participate in the National Championship Tournament. Triad Trackers Wheelchair Basketball Team operates solely on donations and fundraising events. Our communities and businesses are the sources that allow us to empower others.
